The King Shaman 2 is a dedicated 3D accelerator based on the second generation of 3Dfx silicon known as Voodoo². This chipset consists of two IC chips with codenames Chuck and Bruce and offers higher performance at lower operating voltage compared to SST-1 architecture. Chuck stands for frame buffer interface, Bruce stands for texture mapping unit.
The two onboard V2’s are connected by an internal SLI interface, with each consisting of 2 TMUs. The King Shaman 2 equipped with an expansion connector for an optional video module.
