This card incorporates S3 Virge/DX chip as a main device and PowerVR PCX2 3D accelerator as a secondary one. This card may be used as a primary display card or a secondary one alongside with an AGP video card.
This combined card supports two proprietary APIs such as PowerSGL and S3d.
The PCX2 part has a 66/80MHz clock switch jumper for better performance in PowerSGL apps.
The S3 Virge/DX part clocked at 72Mhz, highest clock among all production cards, peer with ASUS 3DP-V375DX. Best performance for the S3d API apps.
